Catching Up

So it has been a while since I last posted. The main reason is I haven't had time. To all those single moms out there - Kudos! I hardly have enough time to go to the bathroom. So here is a brief updated of what we have been up to:

We went home for Christmas. We were there for 2 weeks and of course that wasn't enough time. I didn't even go out while I was there. I went to work, picked Gavin up from Grandpa and Grandma Buehner's and then went to my parents house. I feel bad because I wanted to see some of my friends but either I was too busy or they were too busy.

We got back to NC and I had to take Gavin to the ER the very next day. He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and pink eye. An on top of it WOMACK (the Army hospital) almost overdosed my kid on Tylenol and Motrin. Luckily I know their syringes they use and knew there was no way he should get 2 teaspoons when I have been giving him 3/4 teaspoon. The kicker is they didn't file the correct reports and the head nurse wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't of told Brett.

It has been 2 weeks and the little guy is still sick. I took him yesterday to the doctor and he still has a respiratory infection and now he has an ear infection. Now is is on an antibiotic. The kicker is you would never know he was sick. He is the happiest baby ever.

At 7 months, he can sit by himself, rollover both ways and give kisses. His teeth are trying to come in but just aren't popping through. Even with all this going on he is still the happiest baby ever.
